Welcome to the Archbold Reserve!
Acquired by Archbold Expeditions in 2002, the 3,648-acre Reserve provides opportunities for ecological research and education in a mosaic of working ranchland and native habitats contiguous with thousands of acres of intact scrub habitats on Archbold Biological Station and adjacent state-owned conservation lands. The Reserve is an integral part of Archbold’s efforts to protect and restore the unique biological diversity of the Lake Wales Ridge in Central Florida.
